Payroll Administrator
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for the administration and processing of payroll for the 300+ employees of the 5 locations of Spa Utopia and Utopia Academy
Specifically you will:
Maintain payroll master files, including processing of new hires, terminations, vacation balances, benefit and other deductions
Run and review necessary reports produced by the Payworks payroll system
Answer and solve employees' and department head's inquiries
Contribute to a variety of accounting functions including accounts payable and reconciliations
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years complete post secondary education in accounting/payroll with the desire to engage in continuing education and professional development (or equivalent experience)
Good working knowledge of BC Employment Standard payroll rules
1 to 2 years of progressive experience in payroll administration
Possess solid problem solving, analytical, communication and presentation skills
Team oriented and dependable with strong work ethic
Proven Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Simply Accounting software.

Seeking Mature, Flexible individuals for Spa Utopia laundry facility in downtown Langley. Do you have a desire to be part of a team of dynamic individuals? Do you see yourself as a team leader?
